Fossil find boosts human self esteem

Year 1992, scientists find fragments of a 4.4 million year old fossil of a creature called Ardipithecus ramidus.

Year 2009, analysis of this fossil brings humans across the world some more self respect, brings mythology hope in its quest of being studied as history and aspiring scientists find new PHD ideas.

Ardi as the fossil has been named is so human like and different from chimps / apes/guerillas that it indicates Humans did not descend from apes and guerillas. It is possible that both humans and apes descended from same ancesstors but Apes are not our ancesstors and that in itself is one of the most liberating thoughts. After all who wants to name the Guerilla sitting in some remote African corner in their family tree !
