The Plight of Mansarovar Pilgrims it seems will not go unnoticed this time. The news about dangers that these pilgrims face due to lack of regulations on the tour industry has spread like fire on the internet and has been picked up by the print media too.
Choices International has committed itself to supporting the victims and we have done our part (and continue to do so). Letters have bneen sent to prominent BJP leaders like shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Shri Advani, Sushama Swaraj Ji and Shri Venkiah Naidu. we have also writtent o the BJP central office and other prominent BJP leaders in the Indian states.
What remains to be seen is will the Indian politicians take the matter seriosuly and raise it in the July Parliamentart Session? We hope they will.
